     1.   September 18 – GOT BAGGAGE? Learning to Trust God with Your Pain

• We ALL experience pain in our relationships. Pain from the past. Pain in the present. And pain coming in the future. It’s inevitable in this life. Learning to be aware of this pain and how we carry it is crucial to maturing as believers. Join us as Ron and Nan Deal lead us in exploring God’s remedy for the obstacle of baggage.

     2.   October 2 – HOW TO BUILD A GREAT SEX LIFE: Four Pillars of Sexual Love

• You know sex is important to your marriage and that it matters to God. But what does it practically look like to pursue a sex life that represents wholeness and holiness? In this session, Dr. Juli Slattery will provide a biblical roadmap that can help every couple move towards true sexual intimacy. 

    3. October 16 – NO PERFECT MARRIAGE: Managing Expectations

• In this workshop, Mark and Jill Savage, talk about the fact that there are no perfect marriages, but there are growing marriages. One way to grow your marriage is to learn how to manage your expectations better each year you are married. Every marriage deals with expectations; some are realistic and some are not. How do we know the difference? How do we handle the resentment that can happen when unrealistic expectations accumulate over the years? 

    4.  October 30 – Sexual Discipleship and Parenting

• Perhaps no issue is more overwhelming in parenting than navigating sexuality. The research suggests an alarming rate of kids engaging with pornography, having confusion about gender and sexual identity, and experimenting sexually. In this session, Dr. Juli Slattery presents some important paradigm shifts to effectively discipling kids and teens in biblical sexuality.

    5. November 13 – Developing a BOUNCE BACK Love

• Brian and Jen Goins share about the moment we said, “I do”.  When we did, we committed to love a fallen person while living in a fallen world ruled by a fallen angel.  The difference between experiencing a story of resilience and one of resentment, is how well we develop our ability to “bounce-back” from struggles, irritations, and the inevitable trials of life.

The recorded 2025 FamilyLife LOVE LIKE YOU MEAN IT CRUISE marriage enrichment sessions are coming to Life Center Church in Harrisburg, PA. 

We will facilitate viewing these various video teachings, provide focused discussion points for couples to begin having conversation, foster group interaction, and suggest action steps to practice what you’ve learned in your relationship.  

Marriage Maintenance is “preventative” maintenance that creates opportunities to communicate on the front end about things marriages will address sooner or later.  Have fun in the “maintenance”!
